Don't read, you'll catch it!

Why do so many people treat sadness as a taboo subject or as if it was cooties? I believe that sadness is as natural as any other emotion, and just like any other emotion if extreme and prolonged it's unhealthy but otherwise it needs to be acknowledged and not hidden. There is nothing worse in my opinion than being told to just snap out of it when you're feeling low.

  1. Agreed! Completely. We need to honour our emotions. Recognize them and validate them. It's not the same as wallowing at all. Further, there are no "bad" emotions. They are all there for a reason. Snap out of it is NEVER helpful!
